Brett is a 28 year champion of secondary and post-secondary CTE education from Naperville, IL with a focus on Technology and Engineering Education, College and Career Readiness, and Career Development Experiences.
Brett has led the development and growth of the Work-Based Learning/Internship program in Naperville District 203 since Spring 2022 when the program started with two students. The Internship Program has had 100% growth year over year for the past four years. As a Career Internship Teacher and Program Coordinator, Brett has been charged with ensuring students have an intentional and meaningful WBL experience, leveraging tools and resources that maximize students' WBL potential, growing WBL community partnerships, and facilitating College and Career Pathway Endorsement and WBL professional learning activities with peer educators.
Over the years, Brett has also served Naperville District 203 as a Technology Integration Specialist and as an Instructional Coach. Brett believes that all students can learn at high levels and he strives to help all students and colleagues feel connected, overcome barriers, and feel empowered to create new and meaningful opportunities.
